Cost of College Gettin’ you Down?

CNN Money reported that attending a private university will cost a student in tuition fees an average of $30,367…each year.  Yikes!  And that is not including room & board, food, books, lab fees, etc.  What’s a poor college student to do?

There are innovative alternatives to conventional higher education that will give a student the training they need to pursue a career in the field of their choice; mentorships, to be more exact.  Much like traditional apprenticeships, mentorships provide students with one-on-one training with a professional in a given field.  Mentorships are available in a variety of different industries, including the ever popular TV/Radio broadcasting field.  Much cheaper than traditional college, a mentorship can provide valuable work experience.

Every year the rates go up and it’s not a little bit, it’s a pretty big amount, usually around the 20% mark which is insane. I think these prices will scare off a lot of kids.
