Higher Salaries
How much do you make per year? In the U.S. the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the average annual wages in 2002 as $36,764. More recently, the White House reports that the average hourly earnings of nonsupervisory workers was $15.54 in March 2004.
As expected, CEOs make a lot more than the average salary. According to Bloomberg, the average pay for CEOs running $5 billion companies for the three years ending in 2002 hit $12 million.
What does this mean? If you want to strike over the one million mark before your retirement age, start your own company. Working for yourself can mean more money in your pocket.
What are some ideas for your own company? It can be anything you want, from running a bakery, hauling a dump truck, to selling items online with a dropship company like Doba. Whatever you enjoy, get started and keep more money in your pocket this year.
