On the best day, a cruise can still cost nearly $3,500 per person…and that does not include the airfare and charges you can incur (such as maid service, bar tabs, etc). And while it may be relaxing, how much sight seeing of the beautiful landscapes are you really able to do?
Personally, my husband and I love going on outdoor adventure tours. Recently we got back from a Swiss hiking tour that was absolutely amazing! We got to travel the Swiss countryside with a guide who had an intimate knowledge of the land and each night we stayed at a different charming country inn.Â
Aside from that, it was also a bargain deal. Each person was only $2495 which included everything except airfare – food, lodging, ground transportation, etc. Not to mention, they also took care of our luggage, making sure it was there each night waiting in our hotel room. Surely the only way to travel!Â
