I Am In the Wrong Industry!

It is estimated that by the year 2014, the commercial transportation industry will have a shortage of truck drivers that exceeds 111,000.   Obviously a major limitation and constraint for the trucking industry when economic demand is predicted to only increase substantially.

Which is why trucking companies are trying to find new and innovative ways to tap into a new labor pool, recruit new drivers, and increase wages.  In fact, the average hourly rate for a general freight trucker is $17.56 – which is more than I earn after four years of business school!  Anyone up for truck driving job?
