Meaning of Names

My little nephew was born this weekend, and he is so cute! His name is Ryan, and as a result I was thinking of how common that name is. However, I couldn’t find any stats so I ended up looking what some meaning of names are.

Ryan means “Little King,” which seems perfect for him. My husband’s name, Jerry, means “spear warrior” from the German meaning. My name means “pure.” I found some of our names’ meanings fit us, but not always.
