Mosquito-Borne Disease
According to the CDC statistics as of September 2007, there have been 1,395 human cases and 38 deaths from the West Nile Virus. Although state and local governments can spray to combat mosquito populations. Adults and children can also protect themselves by using proper mosquito protection. Overall, both policies seem to effectively fight the infection and spreading of the West Nile Virus.
