Fashion always comes at a high price. Designers charge a bundle for people to sport their names on clothes, purses, and accessories. You may be wondering what is the most someone has paid in the name of fashion.
What is the most expensive purse? It happens to be Louis Vuitton’s “Urban Satchel” due out in Spring 2008 at a whopping $150,000. What’s more, this bag looks like a collection of items you pick up on the street.
Coming in second is the $45,000 Louis Vuitton bag, of which only two dozen are available. Sadly, both look like something a child would make in crafts class with random items borrowed from mom’s closet.
Meanwhile, dog purses continue to be all the rage as well. Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson carry their dog in a designer dog carrier purse, complete with clothes and shoes for their “baby.” Designer dog purses cost about as much as a regular designer purse. Although not quite $45,000, most purses are about $100 to $1,000. Less expensive dog purses range in the $200-$300 range. Of course, you can always spend more if you really want to spoil your dog.
